**** Collective Consciousness?? ******

Dear All

Have you - by any chance - read any of the basic books on human psychology which talked about 4 states of human consciousness-es  OR heard it from your friends who know this subject a little bit ? You know it long back ...?? huh....Well, that's wonderful.....!!

Just to repeat, they say with authenticity that all of us lead our lives with decisions made from our outermost layer of mind which is called as CONSCIOUS MIND. But then there is a background system which supports this one called as SUBCONSCIOUS MIND. Most of the decisions we take with the fist one is essentially derived from this backup mechanism which can be considered as a storage system for our memories and our thoughts and actions in the past - both conscious and unconscious.

Again in terms of % these two constitute very little when compared to the balance two. Called as UNCONSCIOUS MIND, the third one literally drives even our subconscious mind - some thing we can relate to our spiritual theories of Karma.....where the total configuration of the way we think, act, feel and react......is made up.

Now, comes the fourth one which is repeatedly emphasized in the world of Psychology - which is referred as COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS MIND. In a group which thinks in a particular way - I don't mean the physical group limited by geography but even a vast population of people, there is some thing gathered up as a collective process which DOES impact the rest of the minds.

Now, I am beginning to wonder if INTERNET - with special reference to social websites is leading us towards a fifth dimension...refer to the title. With so many people posting their thoughts and ideas to their friends and friend's friends....and million others keep forwarding these thoughts to their groups....its a clear symptom of a collective conscious mind getting shaped up. (Please note no one forwards any stuff without enjoying it themselves, right ?)

Well, this information age has its own beauty which is more seducing and lot more adorable than the evils and ill effects that it is feared to bring about. I am personally convinced that most of us in this generation is going to see it happen .... a wonderful world with a collective conscious mind full of positive aspects of life which includes good humor, healthy discussions and above all - an ability to handle life much better & lot more effective
