Prelude : This is going to be bit of philosophy (at least I consider it so).

Hi All
I don't seem to get satisfied that I am expressing it sufficiently....!!
Let me put this way.
We seem to think / talk / feel a lot about things which are too subjective while leaving behind a big unbounded objective ideas either by volition or by ignorance - both seems to be happening to most of us.
Volition - as we don't get sufficient space/ suitable space to vent out ourselves; Ignorance because we shun away from it as it is not a comfort zone.
That's why I discovered AGANDAM !!
A space for myself and chosen those who are always allowed to entered. (rather those who gets chosen themselves).
Believe me, its quite comfortable here !! No lines drawn, whatsoever between me and my AGANDAM; No inhibitions, no pretense....and absolutely no sense of self consciousness.
I get "relieved" whenever I dish out my posts and start re-living this grand life all over - once again. Its a positive chain that I am entangled to - nevertheless, a liberating one indeed.
Love // Suren
ps: - I do not have the guts to link this one to Face Book :-) though I will keep tracking the counts in the site meter of the blog.

Hi All
In my earlier post, I had mentioned about my Kerala Trip. It was along with another family-friends who have two kids (& a SUV to accommodate all of us :-) !!).
During our chats, in a particular context, the man of that family with all sincerity told me that he considers three things as his priorities which he ensures to do with due diligence. Visiting the family deity yearly once, taking care of parents and ensuring to do the annual rites when they pass away. (Incidentally he is fatherless). With a tinge of apology he told that he is not able to do "sandhyavanthanam" regularly and wants to restart it. In the same breath, he consoled himself that it was not "practically" possible for him to do this daily duty.
Though I was just listening, I was in fact hearing another familiar voice in my mind (my Father's) who was telling me a few days back that "Nithya Karma" is a MUST and one should ensure it before every thing else.
I am also aware that there could be few much more orthodox brahmins (more than my father) who has much higher yardstick for brahminhood.
Where do we draw the line ?
Let's come to some thing very basic and most important - Our food habits.
There are communities like Jainism & Brahmins where they claim that they are vegetarians. In fact, Jainism shuns away eating vegetables grown from root of any plant, right ? But then, egg some how has found space in few of the individuals of these communities & has in fact become a new group called Egg-atarian. So called Non vegetarians belonging to India will feel aghast if they chose to go for a trip to China or Korea.
Do we have a clear line between these two ?
I am consciously leaving out the borderline between Rich and Poor, Atheist and Theist....and most importantly Good and Bad. Things get too subjective as we ponder about these things;
Objectivity will only pacify us - nothing more and nothing less.
