Dear All
You must be much better than me in knowing the various TV channels that we have today & which ones are PAID channels. A big NO from my side like so many other practical and essential matters.
But as and when I bump upon some piece of knowledge on some programs, I find it quite an invention (please note - I have not used the word "discovery"). So here I am posting one of my recent invention which mesmerized me until ten minutes back.
There is a channel called Zee Tamil (think it is there for quite long time) and daily afternoon, an anchor person called Ms.Lakshmi Ramakrishnan gives counselling to people on their personal issues. (sort of "kattai panchaayathu'). The serial's name is "solvedhellaam unmai" - I remember seeing the same serial few years back which was done by another person those days (Lets avoid name please). I used to have hearty laugh (never attempted to see a full show those days) even if I saw that program for 5 - 10 minutes and move away from TV.
Today is auspicious in a way as the case brought to Lakshmi Madam was quite gripping and clearly one sided. I decided to watch it till the end and I had to literally wipe out the tears at the end of program. The tale is the same age old one - man having affairs, drinking , making promises to reform himself but fails repeatedly. His wife literally wept her heart out but not forgetting to put her case clearly and concisely to the Anchor person. In fact for most part of the show, Lakshmi did not have much role to play except to watch with admiration the girl's questions posed to her hubby as this girl appeared to be brilliant too - apart from being a victim & looking quite attractive. She was adamant on getting divorce though her hubby tried to apologize once more.In fact she had the big heart to tell her hubby to marry one of the affairs he had who is really in a sorry economic state. No wonder, our culture describes women as "Shakthi" - some times we feel like bowing down before their clarity and vision. (not always :-) !!)
So the story ended with Lakshmi hinting that she may be supporting the girl to get a divorce as the case is crystal clear.
Now, NaMo our new PM who is creating positive vibes in whatever he is beginning to do - might (note - "might" - i have doubts if it is that easy) improve the situation in some of our perennial problems and resolve few of the national issues. But then, I am wondering if he would be having time and patience to get into issues of this kind and make some lasting solutions.
First of all, are there solutions for our problems in relationship at personal level which can be brought by outsiders ? I mean really lasting solutions & not compromises or negotiations.
So, to sum up, it was just one personal story and one nice piece of reality show that I saw - that too just one day.
But then, .......such mundane things do matter a lot.........Huh ?
Love // Suren
