I have always been amused about the turning points in one's life.
Many a times there could be some firm decision which human beings take upon themselves - it could be habit formation, throwing away a vice / negative habit or starting up a new initiative with all vigour. Most of such decisions might get drained out in few days (I read some where recently - human beings can sustain their goals only for 11 - 12 continuous days "normally") but then there is a certain beauty about the small percentage of goals pursued upon and sustained on.

In this post, I am not referring about such turning points based on human volition but those changes that happen on its own without our pursuit. Lets call them as DTP (Acronym for "Destined Turning Points") - Howzzzzzthat ??
If we take LIFE in totality, I guess DTPs are more potent and numerically more than the decisions & goals we take upon ourselves. In fact many times we take some decisions / goals only when we find destiny spells a doom on us.
There are inspirational stories where people achieve rare feats in their lives only after they meet up with an accident or contract some major ailment. Without taking away the importance of the sweat , energy and mental focus involved on such "forced" turning points, there is a certain aura about changes that happen on its own - by some cosmic re arrangement (if you belief in astrology) or with some stroke of a magic wand (if you like fantasy stories).

YES, the most important aspect of such DTP is about becoming aware about them even if we don't believe in astrology or fantasies and - at the barest minimum - be grateful to it. Every life undergoes ups and lows and it is not some thing out to get too emotional or entangled or boastful about such DTP-s.
It requires lot of maturity and attention to ensure that we live the moment fully on such DTP and also to take care not to waste upon the mileage that we got without sweat or fuming......
Today is an important day for me for some thing that landed upon my lap and I am enough wise and alert to build upon this development to cement many of the loose ends of my life.
As I tried to glance thru' the possible usages of this title, I see that it also means "change of of one's behaviour in positive way" which brings smile to me since my earlier intention to use it was about "starting a new life all over again".
Perhaps my personality and behaviour might also get refined in the process of adapting myself to this DTP.
God Bless.... Krishnaarpanam as always.
