My latest poem....."The Brick"

Hi All
This poem got completed a fortnight back....but never found myself doing two acts together...that is - bringing my diary to office AND finding time to type out the poem in the diary.....
Well, I would like to recall on the self imposed goal in poem writing.....which I took on Jan 2009...I am happy I am quite consistent in all the 4 poems that I have dished so far....roughly 1 per month.
For any mother, even a sumaar looking child will appear like angel.....As they say in a proverb in Tamil. So, I am not the one who is going to rate this poem against my earlier ones.....
As literature Jaambavaans state emphatically, I too feel that once the poem is delivered to public, it is no more belonging to the poet...!! Shoot your feedbacks...I mean your comments....after enjoying the poem....
Suren

  2. Dear Gowri

Let me candidly admit that your "unconditional" compliments make me dizzy with happiness. I feel like Brahmarishi with this feedback......

(Oh...Just see it is getting posted as a feedback and not a comment after we save it.....!!!! So, the comment we make is ultimately becoming a feedback...Learning for the day ???)

  3. Adak Kadavule....... I had sent a mail earlier to you stating that I have changed the "comments" to "Feedback" !! Please note that "Comment" does NOT change to "Feedback" after posting - "Comment" has been changed to "Feedback" by yours truly - :) - It seems you have neither read my email nor have noticed that in YOUR blog. Your "Learning for the day" was absurd !! "Delete" pannidunGO !!

  5. Suren,

    Great! -- as usual..

At first instance, I felt as if you are ending the poen with a pessimistic approach.

But I can understand ur reference to the proverb "Look before you leep".

    Thanks & Regards,

    Ganesh P
